This campus sits on 600 acres of beautifully manicured greenspace - one of the largest corporate greenspaces in the Southeast and a nationally recognized arboretum – that was once a peach orchard. Milliken Arboretum does contain a system of official trails, but there are no trail maps at the parking area, and the trails often blend in with the large mown grass areas.

Miuka Falls is a 75-foot waterfall tucked away on a spur trail off the popular Winding Stairs Trail. Beginners can easily venture along this trail and experience Miuka Falls.

This trail is located in the southeastern part of the Long Cane Ranger District. Visitors enjoy the option of riding the 5.5-mile Modoc Trail, the 12-mile Turkey/Wine Trail, or exploring them both on the same day. This linear trail provides beautiful views of the Stevens Creek area corridor.

The Molly’s Rock Picnic Area, built on the site of an old homestead, is located near a massive granite boulder known locally as Molly’s Rock. The origin of this name is uncertain because there are several different accounts of its source. The picnic shelter was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) sometime between 1936 and 1942.

At the southern tip of Georgetown, just beyond East Bay Park, you can come to Morgan Park to walk the short boardwalk and trails which lead you through the woods and give you some great views of the Sampit River and Winyah Bay.

This shared-use trail begins at the Park Center and runs into the Sulphur Springs trail. You will ride along the stream and pass by the CCC-built Amphitheatre where local music is hosted during the summer.

The Mountain Rest Community Club is home to the annual Hillbilly Day each summer on July 4th, as well as a peaceful walking path. It is a wonderful place to take a stroll on a pleasant afternoon.

The Mt. Pleasant Community Center serves the community by offering a year round menu of activities for all ages. The Greenville Rec facility provides visitors a gymnasium with a basketball court, playgrounds, a picnic shelter, activity room, as well as a paved walking path.
